The Bokeh Review

Make your voice heard. Make your vision seen. Create the future.

The Bokeh Review is an international quarterly magazine dedicated to amplifying the voices of marginalized and underserved communities through art and writing.

To eliminate barriers for disadvantaged creatives, it is always free to read and submit to The Bokeh Review. All submissions will receive a response within 72-hours. One selected piece per quarter will receive The Aperture Award: a $20 monetary payment for standout work. We also nominate for anthologies!

We accept a wide range of creative work, including poetry, memoir, flash fiction, spoken word, sculpture, painting, animation, and hybrid forms.
